Effective July 27, 2026. This Privacy Policy describes how She Got Game ("we", "us", "the site") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit shegotgame.app.

1. What we collect

No account required. You can use the entire site without signing up, and we do not ask for personal information as a condition of use.

When you visit the site, our infrastructure providers automatically receive standard web traffic data:

• Server logs (via Vercel): IP address, browser user-agent, request path, referrer, timestamp. Used to prevent abuse, debug errors, and measure aggregate load.
• Analytics (via Vercel Analytics and, where enabled, Google Analytics): anonymized page views, session duration, device type, and country-level location. No personally identifying details.
• Optional email address: if you subscribe to the StoryStats newsletter or contact us, we store the address you provide, and only use it for the purpose you gave it for.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and browser storage for:

• Essential site function (theme preference, dismissed banners) — first-party only.
• Analytics — anonymized traffic measurement.
• Advertising — when advertising is enabled, our ad provider (Google AdSense) and its partners may set cookies to serve and measure ads. See the "Advertising" section below.

You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will not prevent site access but may reset your preferences.

3. Advertising (Google AdSense and partners)

She Got Game may serve advertisements provided by Google AdSense and its third-party vendors. This section is required disclosure regardless of whether ads are currently rendering on your session.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data retention

Server logs are retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging. Analytics data is retained per our providers' policies (typically 14–26 months, aggregated after that). Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as GDPR (Europe), CCPA/CPRA (California), and similar frameworks, including:

• The right to know what data we hold about you
• The right to request deletion of your data
• The right to opt out of personalized advertising
